This week we continue with Romans 2 - confronting the dangers of living as a self-righteous judge. While we often categorize sins and excuse our own, God sees all sin with perfect justice and impartiality. Paul exposes how religious people can fall into hypocrisy—judging others while ignoring their own hearts, underestimating their sin, and overlooking God’s kindness meant to lead them to repentance. True righteousness isn’t about outward behavior or religious identity, but a transformed heart. In the end, God judges fairly, revealing that all people need the gospel and the saving work of Jesus, not self-made standards of goodness.
