The Branch is the Young Adult Ministry of NorthWoods Church—designed to connect and equip singles, young marrieds, and young families in the 18–40 age range. No matter your relationship status or life stage, you belong here. Through intentional groups, events, and shared discipleship, The Branch helps young adults grow deeper in their faith, build lasting friendships, and live on mission together.

For young adults navigating life, career, and faith outside of marriage—this group offers connection, conversation, and community rooted in God’s Word. Whether you’re in college, just starting out in your career, or figuring out your next step, you’ll find a place to belong and grow here.
The Branch: Couples
Marriage is a gift—and this group exists to support newly married or younger couples in their 20s and 30s with biblical encouragement, friendships, and real-life discipleship. Together, we pursue Christ as we build strong foundations for life and marriage.
The Branch: Families
For couples in the thick of early family life, this group offers connection, grace, and a community of other parents who get it. We create space for encouragement, prayer, and biblical wisdom as we raise the next generation while growing in our own walk with Christ.

Special Events
Our Young Adults (ages 18-40) often get together to hang out and build community. In the past, the Young Adults have gone to Walthers Golf N’ Fun, visited Ice Cream Shops around Evansville, Game Nights, and things like that!
The Gathering Table Groups
- During the school year, our Young Adults participate in The Gathering! We have designated table groups specifically for Young Adults.
- There is a FREE dinner each night of The Gathering along with large group teaching and small group discussion at the table.
- After The Gathering, the Young Adults will usually go out for Ice Cream!
- We would absolutely love to have you be part of The Gathering!
Discipleship
- Through discipleship, a person can accelerate spiritual growth through Bible reading, Scripture memory, and accountability. That’s why we encourage our Young Adults to be involved in discipleship!
- Discipleship happens either one-on-one with a mentor or in a group of 2-5 people with a mentor. Each discipleship relationship is paired with someone who is the same gender to help meet you where you are and to see the Holy Spirit grow you.
